Durge

“O Queen of all, you who exist in the form of all, and possess every might, save us from error, O Devi. Salutations to you, Devi Durga!”

Durga luxuriates in war. She knows her weapons and uses them efficiently, from arrows, sword, dagger, and chakra, or disc, to the shield, trident, and noose. She knows her strategies and uses them effectively. She pounces, kicks, impales, yells, quaffs wine, laughs, and stuns with every movement. Finally, she knows her enemies and is merciless, as they hurl pikes at her. She destroys chariots, elephants, foot soldiers, and Asuras of gargantuan dimensions, for she is the warrior goddess par excellence.
